The Goliath stick insect (Eurycnema goliath) is the second largest stick insect(after the Titan stick insect) in Australia, and though not as long, the insect has a heavier, sturdier build. The first instar of a nymph is small, brown, and ant-like, without wings, however the adult insects are green and yellow, though colors can slightly vary, are very large, and have wings. Both sexes of the Goliath stick insect are apple green with hints of gold, purple, red and yellow. Colourful patterns on the underside of the wings of Goliaths are used as a defence tactic in order to ward off predators. The females can reach lengths of up to 20 cm. The eggs of the Goliath stick insect look like seeds, so that common ants may take them underground, allowing them to hatch in safety. Males are smaller, slimmer, and darker in color as compared to females. While both sexes have wings, only the lightweight males can fly, as the females have a large, heavy abdomen which gives them limited, if any flight.[ read more ]

On the 19th i will randomly choose a winner for this set, all you have to do is reblog which counts as one entry, feel free to reblog as much as you’d like.
I would rather this go to a customer or at least current followers, This is intended to be a thank you for those who have supported me and my creations : )

ALSO

As i keep unpacking in my new home i know i will find more trinkets and pieces to put within the set, those will not be photographed so they will be a surprise to whomever wins. : )

Set includes:

- Two little duck feathers i collected last summer.
-1 vial filled with various shark teeth from my personal collection
-1 vial filled with various toe bones and claws from both coyote and raccoon
- 1 vial filled with 2 shed red eared slider plates from my little turtle
- a piece of coral
-small bit of brown reindeer moss
- Bone and feather earring
- 3 Raccoon vertebra pieces, one drilled for you to make into a pendant
- mummified squirrel tail tip
-hen bone
-2 other small unidentified bones
- Beaver jaw necklace ( missing all teeth but one
- mini vial filled with horse hair and lavender
-mini vial with flower petals,lavender and dried ladybugs
-mini vial with little pieces of dried wheat,yellow reindeer moss and dried bee
- Leather moon cycle patch ( Note the back of it has a unfinished version)
- and what other small goodies i can find.

This is set number two for the giveaway

I want customers/ current followers for this giveaway because it is meant to be a thank you for all those who have helped keep my shop alive.

Side Note:
as i keep unpacking in my new home i will be adding small items to this lot, those items will not be photographed so whomever wins this set will have a surprise.

This Small set includes:

- A toe bone and feather earring
-two pheasant feathers
- unidentified rib bone
- lock of horse hair
-raccoon jaw bone earring
-Scapula
-3 raccoon vertebra
-small bunch of brown reindeer moss
- small vial of yellow reindeer moss, dried wheat,stone fly shell and dried ladybug
-small vial of rodent bones,peacock strands and flower petals
-small vial of moth wings
- vial filled with various sized shark teeth
-vial filled with toe bones and claws
- brown leather patch i created. I drew most inspiration from the movie “the dark crystal”
